Overview
The customer, a financial services company, helps investors in directing funds towards sectors that tackle climate change and address inequality. Investors approach our client with the notion to invest. All their investment data – including portfolios, bank accounts, withdrawals – was previously managed in an outdated legacy application. Recognizing that the app did not correspond to the current needs, they sought legacy modernization services. In collaboration with the Euristiq team, they transitioned to a modern investment management software, improving the internal management of funds and investment flow.
Solutions
Investment management software
The digital platform is an intermediary for financial operations between the investment enterprise that collects all the data about investors and a third-party system that documents all financial transactions. Euristiq empowered the investment management app with functionality that made sure the data was displayed and synchronized correctly.
Intelligent automation
We contributed to the development of new features, front-end development, quality assurance, and also participated in UI/UX design and requirements elaboration. The result of our cooperation is a digital platform that collects information from various sources about investors, products, and portfolios, and minimizes the human factor in information management.
New investors portfolio flow to manage fund and finances
Euristiq team developed a new portfolio flow of a modernized investment management software that is more complicated than the previous one. It contains information about investments, withdrawals, bank accounts, investors, advisors, etc., and has the functionality to manage finances by creating payments, adding and deleting bank accounts, withdrawals, and changing investment settings.
Results
The result is an internal investment portfolio management software that brings together all the actions regarding investors and investing for the company’s employees.
In 2021, over 750 of our client’s employees were using the investment management app. The system manages more than £10.6 billion on behalf of over 63,000 investors. These funds are invested in renewable energy, healthcare, smaller companies that drive the economy, and property.
