We start by singling out the one assumption on which depends the feasibility of the whole idea. Together we will define the test, the technology stack and the result that counts as success in order to have the PoC completed rather than to be an open-ended experiment.
PoC Development Services
Our PoC development services
PoC discovery & feasibility scoping
PoC technical architecture
Before the development starts, we define the architecture needed to run a fair test. There is no scaling at this stage since it is not the purpose of a PoC. This enables us to build fast without locking you into a specific stack if the PoC succeeds and you move to MVP.
Technical PoC development
Our engineers build a working, narrow-scope version of the riskiest part of your idea to validate it. You get a functioning system to evaluate, not a slide deck or a demo video.
AI PoC development services
If the question that needs validating is whether a model, dataset, or AI workflow actually performs the way you need it to, we build it and run it against your real (or representative) data. You’ll know before committing further budget whether the AI approach is justified or not.
PoC testing & validation
The PoC is tested against the criteria for success laid down in the initial brief – not simply does it work or not, but specifically against the question that the PoC aims to solve. You get a straight go/no-go read, backed by results.
PoC evaluation & roadmap to MVP
Regardless of how the PoC turns out, there is more than just an evaluation – you get a document with recommendations on the architecture, scope, and costs for the next stage. And if the concept proves to be valid, the roadmap becomes a great starting point for MVP.

Why choose Euristiq as your
Proof of Concept development company

Working PoC in weeks, not months
We deliver a working proof of concept in 2-6 weeks, with a defined scope and a fixed price agreed upfront – no scope creep, no surprise invoices.
AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner
AWS reserves this status for partners with proven cloud expertise. We’re also AWS-validated on the specific services fast PoC builds run on, so your PoC runs on vetted infrastructure from day one.
ISO 27001:2022 certified
Your idea and any data behind it are protected under an internationally recognized security standard, even at the PoC stage – worth knowing before you hand over production data to run a feasibility test.

Global delivery model
A Toronto HQ working alongside delivery hubs in Poland and Ukraine – client-facing leadership stays close to your time zone, while an engineering team already in place can start scoping within days, not weeks.

10+ years of turning ideas into shipped products
A decade of building for startups and product teams across fintech, healthcare, logistics, and energy – including the PoCs that decided whether those products got built at all.

FAQ
What is PoC development? What does PoC stand for?
Proof of concept is shortened as PoC. In PoC development, a miniaturized working version of the riskiest assumption is built without necessarily building the entire product to be able to find out one thing: does this really work? This is not a demo and it is not a pitch deck either, it’s a real test that you can measure using a clearly defined pass/fail criteria.
What is an example of a PoC in software development?
To explain, let’s use one of Euristiq’s real-life cases. A smart-cities technology provider needed to know whether AI-powered camera sensors could reliably detect road incidents in real time before committing to a full traffic-management platform. Euristiq built a PoC: one developer, three months, tested live in Dublin’s Port Tunnel against real traffic (roughly 26,700 vehicles a day). The PoC didn’t need a polished dashboard or handle every edge case, it needed to answer one question: can this detect incidents accurately enough, in real conditions, to be worth building into a full platform. It could.
Which comes first, MVP or PoC?
PoC should come first, but only if there is actually a technical question to answer. If you know for certain that it works and the question is, “will people buy this? “, go straight to MVP – the PoC will just hold you back. In case your open question is, “can we build this?”, you begin with the PoC and proceed to MVP after confirming that it can be done.
What is a PoC checklist?
Before you start a PoC, make sure you have:
How is a PoC different from a prototype or an MVP?
Think about it as three questions answered by three different builds. The PoC answers the question “can this be built at all”. Typically it is hard-coded and does not have any real UI and was never designed to be exposed to end-users. Prototype answers the question “what will it look like”. It can be used to test out the user flows and the design but not the technical feasibility. Prototype should not necessarily run on the real environment. The MVP answers the question “are people going to use it”. MVP is the working product running against the actual data with actual users assuming the technical risks have been retired. Each project typically requires answering one of the three questions. However, it is a common mistake to choose just based on the budget.
How long does a PoC take, and how much does it cost?
Most PoCs take 2-6 weeks, depending on complexity of the problem being solved. Pricing starts at $10,000 USD (~$14,000 CAD) for a narrowly scoped technical PoC and scales up depending on the specific AI PoC or the entire journey to MVP. See pricing table above for the exact ranges per type.
